CNC Machinist

To run proven programs on existing long term contract producing stainless steel parts for the Nuclear Sector. Day and night shift opportunities available.

Essential experience:

  • Apprentice-trained
  • Experience of working both lathes and milling machines
  • Capable of proving out and editing CNC programmes
  • Experienced of working on high precision safety critical components in nickel alloy materials

  • Flexible and cooperative attitude combined with a strong work ethic.
  • Aptitude to develop and gain new skills.
  • Capable of working on your own initiative as well as part of a close team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Questioning attitude.
  • Ability to work shifts (mix of days/lates).

Remuneration and benefits:

  • Competitive salary offered depending on experience
  • 39 hour working week over 4 days. (mon-thurs)
  • 290 hours (7 weeks) holidays inc. bank holidays
  • After 1 year of employment, you become a beneficiary of the Employee Ownership Trust and get tax free bonuses depending on business performance.
